Bye, bye, Blagojevich. I’ll read your book if you write one and always remember your hair fondly.

One Relevant Conversation From This Week, Relating To Stripping Paint Off Church Doors

MOM: They should’ve known not to use caulk before they painted.
ME (to Jordan): It’s unfortunate how close the word caulk sounds to. . .another word.
JORDAN: Oh god.
MOM: Helen is going to hire a stripper to do it.
ME (to Jordan): I wonder if the stripper would be willing to handle caulk.
JORDAN: I’m so glad you’re my sister.

An extremely long list!

1. I just commented on the bitchy two-year-old post about NaNoWriMo at Wet Asphalt. And after reading around their extremely pretentious literary blog, I really fail to see how someone who seems to love books merely for the purpose of comparing them to Moby Dick and, perhaps, crushing the hopes and dreams of young artists, thinks they have any position to comment on someone else's endeavours. NaNoWriMo makes messy, lovely, often horrible prose, but it makes prose. Someone call me when Eric Rosenfield publishes anything worth reading.

cut for many things that even I don't really care about, and a bit about how Noah Wyle is the geek of my dreams )
Evidently, I am too lazy to flock my entries. Which really says something.
