That drabble is so gentle and fragile and generally awesome, it fills me with warmth. I've never considered this particular pairing, my TP femmeslash is always Kel/Aly or Aly/Dove. But you wrote it in a way that made sense, and made me completely believe it.
Just a slight note - Neal is spelled with the a, rather than Neil.
